I just noticed that American people complain on the high demand of games' prices when there are other countries with the worst VAT ever.
Take the Philippines, for example. Filipinos has wished all games bought in our country has the same price as the US ones because the ones sold in the philippines are doubled the prices of what it should have been in the US.
I had been promoting ROCKSOFTONLINE and its iEDGE cart and it seems cheap for me but it's expensive to others. There's a conflict here between two sides.
DS games are so darn cheap in the US that the people complain for its high price but some other countries (with annoying tax) has wished it would have been the same.
PLAY-ASIA is selling Japanese products at doubled the price when if it's converted it shjould be atleast cheaper. The same system has been applied in the Philippines for all imported goods and we wish it should be the same with the US counterparts.
So yeah, my point here is that....."there are other countries with worst sales TAX and country TAX that the original distributor should not complain" In this case Americans should not complain with the prices of the games they're buying.
Feel free to comment but dont go over board. This is just my personal opinion about the games and console prices on each country.
So yeah, let's take Pokemon HGSS as an example. How much is it in your country if the US$ is atleast US$40 or les?
Hmmm...comparing it with Pokemon Platinum, it cost me around Php2,000 but in Toy Kingdom, it is Php 4,000. Pokemon Platinum is, I think, US$35 at that time
US$ 1 = Php 48 ......do the math
