Urza... Care to settle our differences?

It's not that I was right or wrong, it's just pointless to take an online debate so personal.

Nothing involving your personal life was involved, just about a lame comparison over Apple and Windows.
Who cares? What will it solve? What will it change? Will Apple or Windows change their products over it? No and it would solve absolutely nothing. It was just stressful bickering.

No point in stressing yourself over something like that, especially if you two weren't going to see eye to eye on it. Agree to disagree.

That's understandable and people are bound to react with issues like that, but try to keep in mind it's just the internet.
Urza likes to argue and be brutally honest, sometimes it's cool and sometimes it isn't, but it's not something to stress over.


There's no point in making a blog about it, you could have PMed him as well to keep it more private.

I chose to make it public, because I don't want to look childish. People have already seen that EOF post. When someone apologizes, when it's them who got angry. It makes them look more like an adult when they fess up for something they shouldn't have done. In my case it was getting angry over the internet. See what I mean?

I'm saying you could have made it private if you wanted to.

I don't think Urza was angry over the debate, but I can't speak for him.
I'm sure he's full aware people have feelings behind a computer screen or tv, whichever their preference, but Urza loves to be very honest with his opinions and not real good at sugarcoating(even though I don't think he would XD). It's up to the person getting offended really, whether or not they take it to heart.

I checked back in the thread and saw that you did.

I just didn't care much about the argument anymore after I saw he hadn't replied to my last post in the thread. Assuming he had run out of things to argue about, I hadn't checked back.

I had heard things about Urza previously, that he was a troll and would never let an argument go (I suppose this happens a lot around here?). However, I continued to argue and get him riled up to the point where insulting was his only course of action.
I noticed that you said that he would be thrown out of a debate for that. That was actually something I was prepared to say to him myself, but decided not to as it had nothing to do with the argument at hand.

I tend to get into fights with people like him a lot on the internet, I guess I like to feed the trolls too much...

I also see it as a throwback to my treatment as a kid when I see someone insulted and it boils my blood. I appreciate your concern and am grateful that you would give some of your time to bring an end to such a thing. Thank you.
