uhoh...

Yay bad things!

So if you read my blog yesterday, you'd know that I accidentally overslept through an hour of work yesterday. It was my first time being. More than five minutes or so late since I started. I find out today that gnc mandates immediate termination for such an offense.

Luckily, my manager covered for me and fixed it up...but I'm now on my last shot. If I'm so much as five minutes late until I leave gnc, I get fired. Give someone too much change on accident? Fired.


Blah. At least now I have experience, so maybe another job if I do get fired...still stinks, though. I mean, I even made record sales solo yesterday.

You have to remember that being fired looks terrible on a resume. I suggest trying to keep the one you have now (obviously). What you did yesterday makes it seem like you're on the right track. Don't even think about being fired.

Yeah, I know, but it's kinda out of my hands right now. Frankly, I'm not big on going through the job hunt again if I do get fired. I'll probably just take the easy way out.

Current standard is a two weeks notice. Any other length of time lower, then it will look just as bad on a resume.
