I posted this on 4 hours of sleep and after walking around for 7 hours straight, I was tired.

Wait... if it's a French speaking country... and you don't know French... and been living there all your life with no problem... someone's bound to know English.
Or really bad English. Learning basic French for applications is pretty simple and apparently, since you can understand quite a few people in your area, you only need to know French for the application. I don't think you'd be in school there if everyone spoke French and no English. Just get the applications translated or learn French.

No kidding. I moved here when I was 18, so no friends to help me get a job (which is how everyone gets their first job).

The only reason I survived is because (now) my manager felt sorry for me.

as far as i know you must be 16 to work here anyway : P

French speaking country except everywhere that isn't Quebec hates the French.
We just call ourselves bi-lingual so they shut the hell up and stop trying to join France for 5 minutes.

The French hate English. Pretty much they think all of Canada should learn French, but can't be fucked to learn English themselves. Some might know shitty English, but it's probably just enough to tell an English speaking person to go learn French.
