You seem to be missing that there's French and then there's Quebecois French. French itself is a normal language (which is good), but Quebecois French is a horrible mutilated language spoken by (most of the time) idiots.

The French people as a whole pretty much ruin the language.
But you're right, Quebecois french is brutal compared to 'real' French.

Oh, and not to stick all French people into one group for this or anything. But yeah, i've just -never- had a good impression left by the French.

I studied a little French in school because that was the subject. It's fun actually, that was 2 years ago and now I don't remember much because it was not essential Just study. Besides, you're Canadian =_=

If you want to speak French just carry around a white flag, that's all you need to know.

But really, if you live in a French speaking providence and you've never learned French, then I don't get it. I always assumed you knew French because you're English is kinda bad.
