Tricking Nintendo into shifting me a new 3DS

The fact that you're believing every little thing on that site is truly amazing. Don't you think that there would have been wider coverage of that if it was all true?

I mean, hell look at this: the picture he points out where the Zelda 3DS is brighter is bullshit and false, you can even see the light from outside is shining on the old 3DS, thus making it harder to see.

I had similar symptoms (well, not as many but still) so I've some suggestions.

Looking at your symptoms, you could use these points as your argument for replacement shell revision : ( I don't know how well NoE would take it though, I talked to NoA though)

* Wobbly hinge needs a full replacement of 3DS shell, as there might be potential in cracking the 3DS shell
* Lines down top screen are a manufacturing defect (clearly they match up with the bottom screen hitting the top screen)

All I needed to do was be firm with the rep (but not overly aggressive) about the symptoms mine had.

But honestly ShadowSoldier is probably right. The shots were taken at different angles which are known to affect colours and such.

Try to make good picture with a Samsung Galaxy S2 ^_-

I am pretty sure Ninty have changed the 3D panels, or the release versions were a bad batch, as my friends release version isn't as sharp as mine.

I suppose so, but NoE are really stingy- I spent my time talking to a rep for around, what, 45 minutes, only for them to shift over my system to some asshat who didn't even write a summary of what he did to my console. :/ Oh well, times are hard and I suppose cutbacks need to happen. I'll see what I can do

When I got my wii , the picture on it after a few months started getting pixelated in the corners of the screen , they replaced it with a new . Not sure if that will work for the DS but you could try.
