Hey guys,
I recently saw this article here about the new 3DS revision: http://theslimechest.blogspot.com/2011/11/tricks-differences-between-nintendo-3ds.html
This pissed me off immensely. I sent my 3DS off earlier in the year because they shafted me with the scratched screen, crap D-Pad. So, they repaired the D-Pad, but now it slides around and is uncomfortable, and the lines are still there.
Is there a way you think I could trick Nintendo Europe (UK) http://nintendoservicecentre.co.uk into giving me a new 3DS when I send mine off for "repairs" again?
What should I cite? I'm sure others have done this before, but my 3DS is irritatingly decrepit and weighs more than other 3DS Systems too. But since NoE are poor I doubt they'll just give me a new one.
And then there's the question of keeping all my data. Those bastards at NoE Repairs are horrible with that kind of thing, I hear. Well, I hope they can transfer something out.
Symptoms of my 3DS:
-Wobbly Hinge
-Lines down top screen
- D-Pad that slides around when used
- Buttons work fine but are sticky when pressed
-3DS Low-light video capture mode is very slow and laggy
