We could theoretically go forward, but not likely backwards. *Sigh* time travel forward in time is of little use – no matter how it would sound.

Space & time is relative, technically we can achieve time travel by changing our location. It is possible to time travel inside a simulated program AR game by manipulating your location.

The OP's question has been misunderstood, it has been taken too seriously by 2 users. If I have to misunderstand it too, I confirm that space is a relative concept and time (here many will be shocked) objectively does not exist: only the present moment exists, and time is just the sum of instant-points. The future is the mind that ANTICIPATES an event that will be present, the past is the mind that RECALLS an event that was present. Those who see things in depth, cannot but agree with this concept, shared by both depth psychology and Indian philosophy.

There would have to be a lot of steam and piston sounds. Maybe something whirring in the background. The overall tone would go from low frequency to high before the scene fades to white (never to black).
