This week has been pretty awesome.

Yes, last week was just total bullshit. But this week has been getting just more and more awesome by the days. Monday, we got again earlier out because of class was cancelled. Today, Tuesday, we watched a movie (Romeo & Juliet 1999) and good day in school in general. I came home, looked at the living room table, and there it was. Goldeneye 007. Not only that, but my dad told me that were getting 8mb internet speed TODAY. 15 minutes later, the company calls my mom and asked if she agrees to make a two year deal, 8mb internet speed, 29€/month. She said yes, and dad is paying for that. So, we waited like two hours cause the internet didnt work and we thought that the company was doing something. I took my modems adapter off and placed it back, tested if the net works, and it did. Im so waiting for the next few days. We also got a thing tomorrow where all our schools(except high schoolers) classes deputies, including me, are introduced. Also few other people, who act like sort of a "support group" for the little seventh graders. And were having a theme week, each day a different style, colour etc. So I'm thinking of for tomorrow, we have subcultures as the theme, Im going to go for goth/heavy style, black clothes combined with my attitude lol.

Loving goldeneye 007 so far, played some of the story mode, awesomeeee. So cool that they got Daniel Craig. Later today Im probably going for online multiplayer.

P.S We had hamburgers in school on Monday! WTF!

@nitr8, If you consider open-sourcing this, then I'm sure somebody could point out the bugs for you in the repository, such as walking through step-by-step on what it's doing.

I have 2 USB Gecko's. I'm using one for debug printout messages while I use the second one for realtime debugging within Eclipse where I make changes to the code

@nitr8, Ah good, having two is always handy.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Not sure why you'd want to, but it's a good thing at least.
  • nitr8 @ nitr8:
You need two if you want realtime-debugging AND debug printout at the same time. The problem is that GDB (the GNU debugger) needs a connection over a serial port while the other one also needs a connection over a serial port. You cannot send debugging commands and printout messages over the same port. It just wouldn't work. I've tested this.

I should probably see if I can run this natively on a PC using the original commits where I pulled the code from. Basically the repository is the same but the commits were different when it comes to the main game code and the engine overlay...

BTW: I saw you mentioned me in the link to the ROTT wall bug where a moving wall exits the game map.

  • nitr8 @ nitr8:
The original developers put an image into the code which would be shown once this bug happens. It's the one you see at the end of the video and it's also the same image I'm using as an avatar.

Anyway, I hope BLOOD will finally make it's way onto the Wii. I ported DOOM, HERETIC, HEXEN, STRIFE, ROTT and HEXEN II before years ago. I simply cannot imagine that it's too hard to get the game
    running stable.
