Hey guys. Just a quick update about MEEEEE!!!
Update 1: School!
School this week has been stressful as hell. English 2nd Prelim (I am dreading my Higher English exam with the strength of A THOUSANDS SUNS!!!) turned into a disaster as I realised that I wasn't really ready. My first essay sucked more balls than a crack whore. I hate Othello... My second essay was better but I reckon it was repetitive and waffly, that's a technical term by the way, used in proper SQA mark schemes. Also had a Geography NAB (small tests you have to pass to be able to sit final exam) on Wednesday...I don't think I did the best in it though.
Update 2: AGE!!
I levelled up on Wednesday from 16 to 17. Responsibility +1! Gained access to quest: Learn to Drive! New Skills available: Driving. Didn't get much for my birthday, just a few cards, a book on Driving Theory and a copy of Darksiders from my big brother. Parents are going to buy me some lessons to start off then I'm gonna chip in for them.
Update 3: GAMING!!
Got Pokemon SoulSilver this week and have played through to the 4th Gym now (found the 4th Gym ridiculously easygoing as there was almost no level jump) Can spread friend-code if anybody wants it. My team consists of Croconaw, Bayleef, Quilava, Sudowoodo, Flaafy and Pidgeotto at the moment and they are levels 20-25. The game is fun and I've been wandering around with my Pokewalker to get extra Pokemon and items (filled the first box of the PC already)
My GBC got a slight resurrection by way of me playing Pokemon Blue on it for quite a while, only to Cerulean though. Need to train up all my Pokemon before taking on Misty or Gary. I also went to a Jumble Sale today and found a copy of Super Mario Land for 50p YAY! Unfortunately there weren't any old GameBoys for me to buy as well
There was an old PS1, some old joysticks, a new-in-box GAMEware GBA 4 player link cable (wow), an old Word Processor and 2 giant colour LaserPrinters.
Last thoughts:
Today wasn't all that eventful though the rest of the week was stressful. I found out that working in WHSmiths has its benefits as I signed out a DVD copy of Avatar to watch with my family tonight so we get to watch it before its release on Monday. DOes anybody in the UK have an old GameBoy they can sell me for £10?
