3 months ago a tragedy took place in the southern parts of my country. 44 brave soldiers died while tracking down a terrorist. The terrorist was said to be killed yet, no body was found, only a finger was found. The government said that the terrorist was dead and the DNA is identical to that of his brother but nothing about the fingerprints were said. The sad part is, nobody cared about what happened on the other side, the rebels' side. Less of them died compared to the Fallen 44 but a death, even if it's only a single death, is a big death.
What I'm trying to say is that people usually believes in what the government says. 2 years ago a scam was found out. Non Government Organizations were using the money from the taxes of people for their personal well being. A year before that, it was found out that the Chief Justice, now former, has been taking the money of people through their taxes.
I'm not saying that the rebels are right and that the government is wrong and vice versa. What I actually want to say is that both have been manipulating the nation. They keep on trying to have peace talks but usually one person from both sides end up doing something wrong and the peace talks are delayed. Millions of money are wasted in doing this. The citizens are promised of peace from both sides yet, all they get is nothing. Sometimes they get more problems due to the rising conflict.
