My god, its that time again... ITS THE JAMSTRUTH BLOG UPDATE RANT THINGY!!!!!
1st order of business: Has anybody seen a Blue/Gold Parrot in the Aberdeenshire area? There's apparently one missing by the name of Bobby.
NOW ON WITH THE BLOG!!
1. 6th Year WOOT!!! (Senior Year for you Americans, I think) I'm done with Highers!! If I have to resit English I may go on a rampage. LEAST I'LL MAKE THE NEWS!!!
6th Year means 2 things for me. One is the Coffee Bar. At my school there is no room for each yer to have a seperate "Common Room" to hang around in so only 6th Years get an area called the Coffee Bar. Its got its own canteen, comfy seats and speaker systems (not to mention a TV a guy brought in to watch the Football on...ugh...) and we get free reign of it!!! YES!!! The other thing is FREE PERIODS!!! Time to kick back for the next week and a half and time for study after the summer. Its nice though we're starting to get a bit bored of cards.
2. FOOTBALL!!! Ye'gads! Its taken over! Football is a sport I truly loath mainly because those that are huge fans of it seem to be utter pricks (at least to me) and partly because its JUST RUDDY FOOTBALL!! Its taken over the TV with 3 hour analysis sessions with the nation's favourite crisp salesman talking to a bunch of managers about what they think the England manager should do to stop them being knocked out. It really got on my tits when he asked some guy about "Historic Precedent" or something along those lines. The guy had an answer as well... GOD! ITS JUST FOOTBALL! LET THE GAME PLAY AND BE HAD WITH IT! DON'T TALK ABOUT IT ALL THE FECKING TIME!!
Sometimes I think I'm the only sane male on British soil...
3. iPod iOS4. I upgraded. Didn't use my jailbreak apps all that much so I'll wait until one comes out for this rather than hold off. Liking the wallpapers and the folders. Cleaned up my homescreen no end. It seems to make it a lot more attractive too, might just be me though.
iBooks comes to iPod. Yeah, I've downloaded a load of free samples and classics to try and read. Not sure how well it'll go considering the small text and LCD screen. Sepia tone is definitely the best mode for it though. Gonna read the first 2 chapters of Twilight to see how insane it is...
