The Perfect Subway

That's it.
I've completed one of my lifelong quests!
After two years of eating at Subway on and off I've finally done it, and I can tell you, it tastes great.

The Perfect Subway: Steak and Cheese on honey oat bread with the works, and sweet onion and lite mayonnaise.

HUZZAH!

I'm an italian herb and cheese, extra Provolone, and hell extra Turkey while I'm at it Toasted. Works minus the tomatoes, onions, and hot peppers. banana peppers can stay. EXTRA black olives and pickles. No dressing thanks.

I have a feeling all the extra I added will make my sandwhich unclosable...I don't usually go all out on extras but I'm thinking with my stomach first than mind.

Damn you, now I have to go get one of these tomorrow.

Ps. When I was formally a vegetarian for 4 years the only fastfood I went to was subway. not that subway is fastfood in the greasy sense of the word, just the literal Its fast and its food part.

I get the grossest thing, I'm actually embarrassed to order it.

Italian BMT, on Italian Herb and Cheese, with lots of mayo and salt. No veggies, no nothing, but lots of mayo and salt. Also, its toasted.

Italian Cheese & Herb bread, double cheese, chicken, bacon, pepperoni, BBQ sauce ... toasted.

man, I really want a subway franchise of my own. I'd totally give away free sandwhichs to all tempers with valid temp ID.

Subway used to be my thing. I used to get the Southwest Chipotle sub.

But what's better is Firehouse Subs. My favorite is the
Hook & Ladder:
Smoked Turkey Breast and Virginia Honey Ham smothered with Monterey Jack and served “Fully Involved”

i use to get Chicken teriyaki on honey oat, with lettuce, carrots, onion and beetroot and SEAFOOD! with mayo and cheese.

i could never understand why i always felt sick after that meal.

I have had subways (and equivalents) all over the world (OK Europe, USA and Canada) and can quite frankly say every one of them either came out one way or the other very shortly after eating them.
To this end they are classified up there with McDonalds and the greasy curry vans of Liverpool docklands.

I've worked at a subway for a good long time, and now, I don't think I will touch one ever again.
BUT, when i worked their, we got a free 6-inch every day so I got a veggie patty with roasted chicken and bacon-toasted-with everything one it and honey mustard.

Remember that the point of a sandwich is to taste good, nothing else.

I'm a one-third shareholder (silent partner) in a Starbucks ... we we're 50/50 between buying into that, or getting a Subway ...
