So yesterday I finished the stupid bullshit project at 8PM. By the time I took a shower, ate dinner, and finished all my other homework, I was really tired. I wasn't able to play FFXIII. ;__;
But... I did convince my mom to let me leave school early today! Which means I will definitely have time to play it today.
I'm gonna be honest, though. I'm a bit worried by all the reviews and such I've been hearing about it. EDGE magazine, who I respect a great deal, gave the game a 5/10. To be fair, they do give pretty harsh scores, and they also gave FFX a 6 (and I totally disagree with). But most of the time, they are right on the money.
Also, I've seen DigitalFoundry's FFXIII PS3 vs 360 camparion gallery. Jesus, I was left speechless. Look at those disgusting textures on the 360 version. Lack of lighting, too. But hey, I'll be playing the game on a 21.5" monitor, so it probably won't look that bad. Still, Square did an awful, awful job with the port.
Anyway, I'll put up my impressions later on this afternoon, so look forward to it! (This time for sure!)
As far as music goes, I was left extremely happy yesterday when I heard that "school food punishment", my favorite Japanese band, will be releasing a new single in 5 days! Not only that, but they will be releasing their first full scale album on April 14th. I really can't wait for it, they are an amazing band.
