the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

@cdogg Everyone I've seen in this thread on 10.1 ended up updating to 10.3 and had better luck. US O3DS confirmed on latest firmware

I'm trying out some stuff through oot3dhax on 9.2. the *hax payload worked, so I'm trying FBI and Linux.

@NikolaMiljevic Pretty much. Nobody who's downgraded has gotten cfw running yet but they're trying right now. You can always just update back to 10.3 until nintendo creates a new patch, though.

@Ptrk25 Still needs cfw access, and nobody's found that yet. Is MSET downgraded? Maybe 9.x ROP for rxtools nightly might work?

@NeoSlyde Hard to say until people confirm CFW working after the downgrade. 10.3 is guaranteed downgrade so far (Except JN3DS) but somehow breaks a lot of homebrew entrypoints. Nobody's gotten CFW running yet, so I'd hold off until then.

Nvm, Ninjhax works, turns out you need Wifi to install it >_> I disabled the Wifi as soon as it booted up

Install 9.2 payload in hax1
Ans downgrade with hax2
Then use hax1 un 9.2
Will tthis work?

It stucks on "Getting CIA files information..." on NEW 3DS 9.9.0 -> 9.2.0

@arnauete52 make sure you're using the n3ds firmware files, and not the o3ds ones. if you are using a japanese n3ds, i haven't found a way to get that working yet. also try a different entrypoint and build version, or try running ftbrony first before attempting to run it
