the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

yea can somebody help me find the link for 3dsiso downgrade thing so I can be on 9.2 would like to try this when its stable please help if anybody reads this message thanks

so I have successfully downgraded this black Old3DS to 9.2.0-20U using sysupdater through oot3dhax.

I created the required title.db and import.db and am now going to try go.gateway-3ds.com again

To any programmers feeling like fixing the pre-build, can you CTRL+F this thread for "0xC8E083FC" and try to fix that issue in an updated build? I think that's what's preventing me from downgrading my 10.3.0-28J N3DS, because it hangs and bricks at this moment, and it's the farthest I can get into downgrading: https://imgur.com/PV9lhb7

@Ptrk15, go into Nintendo 3DS/[ID1]/[ID2]/dbs

Create a text file, call it import.db, and another one called title.db. GO into Settings -> software -> Nintendo 3DS. Confirm the popups

Just downgraded my O3DS 10.3.0-28E to 9.2.0-20E using menuhax 2.5 with the boot.3dsx from the homebrew starter pack and the shinybanana build. I can get into OoTHax so is there anything I can check for anyone with that or should I just wait to see if someone gets CFW running?

Edit: Menuhax 2.1 sorry, I was pumped from the fact the downgrade worked haha

@Sukiyami I haven't seen anyone in this thread use OoTHax with shinybanana, why not try to get CFW like rxtools running through OoThax?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm really dumb: Can't sysupdater without a cfw

Anyone had success with downgrading from 10.1? Preferably an US O3DS

So, from what I've seen, everyone with a 10.3E o3DS got it to downgrade without any bricks? But what's this about people not being able to run browserhax/spiderhax after downgrading?
