the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

@BasedIndex I've heard more successful downgrades from 10.3, you can try at least opening sysupdater though. As with everything in this thread, there's no guarantee it will work or not brick your system.

@BasedIndex more consistent on 10.3, also J not yet confirmed: in fact it bricks me. E and U confirmed working though. Do it through menuhax using shiny prebuild from https://github.com/AlbinoDrought/memchunkhax2/releases

@SableSugar You also need an entrypoint. i recommend menuhax which can be installed through browserhax.

@SableSugar I also didn't download that one, it should already be in the correct file structure though, all you need to do is extract it to the sdmc. smdc:/updates/xxxxxx.cia

@V3NUS_M1NER All O3DS and N3DS have been confirmed on 10.3.0-28 except for JN3DS, which I am trying to get working. Nobody has gotten CFW running after the downgrade yet, though... I think there's like 6 bricks last time I checked? There's probably more because so many people are doing this without a hardmod, lol (also my god this thread is getting more and more laggy as the posts go on)

I cant seem to find the downgrade stuff for 3dsiso site for memchunkhax can anybody help me would like todo this whe. its stable

I read somewhere that there is around 8 bricks though. @BurningDesire keeping trying, I got mine to work after a few tries and sysupdater opened.

Yeah...I think my model of n3DSXL is now incapable of getting that damn DEADCAFE. It doesn't pop up any more at all. With that, I dunno if nintendo stealth patched 10.3 or what.

I'm officially out of the running. Good luck everyone else!
