The day of a lifetime

Heh. Awesome. I got Ubuntu Netbook Remix working on my new netbook (a Samsung N130, if you're interested). I love it. Already installed everything possible (that I will use). So, I'm happy! :D

I first thought of doing a small rant about the things I like (and dislike) in girls, but then I thought no one cares. Neither do I, actually.

BTW, if you have any suggestions of cool apps for Ubuntu, tell me about them :D

For Ubuntu, I really don't use much except these:

- OpenOffice (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)
- KlamAV (anti-virus, but for some reason it won't install on my laptop. You don't really need it though, there's not many Linux viruses).
- XChat (IRC client)
- Firefox (no duh, and it should already be installed)
- Wine (Allows you to run Windows executables)

I used the 20GB recovery partition as swap, the C partition as Windows, the D partition as Ubuntu and I left the 100MB 'boot' untouched. I'll resize the swap to 2GB and put the 18GB in the Ubuntu partition.

How about not using Ubuntu?

Go back to Windows XP FLP, or a more minimalist Linux, or even Mac OS X if it works well.
