Its april fools, but nothing interesting has happened yet. I was kind of expecting something funny to happen, quite a bit disappointing.
I sat through 20 minutes of my electronics lecturer rapping about engineering and electronics while the guys in front of me were on their netbooks going through a webcam chatroom. they met at least 2-3 people just filming themselves having a wank. and they found it entertaining. very sad. The lecturer eventually got booed off, it was shit, to be expected from a 50 year old Caucasian lecturer.
I picked up 3 volumes of 20th Century boys and 1 volume of Hellsing for $15, pretty good price if you ask me, finally got some more manga to add to my somewhat small collection. i've only got the deathnote boxset, Airgear vol 1, Fruits basket vol 1, Sundome 1-5, Kare Kano 1-3, .Hack//Legend of the twilight bracelet boxset and Beck 1-2. I don't know why, but manga prices are pretty overdone here in australia, cheapest i've seen a volume at a retail giant is $15, average price is around $20. Thankfully i've found a place that does manga for fairly cheap, average price is around $12. though i probably won't be buying anything from them until they get more Yotsuba volumes, they've only got volumes 1 and 2 right now.
I also finally got my motherboard back from RMA, i think they just kind of repaired it. its the exact same motherboard i had before, i can tell as there is a bit of thermalpaste around the socket. i would have rather a brand new motherboard but meh. I'm waiting for a Aftermarket cooler for my 4850 to come before i put my motherboard back in. at stock fanspeeds my 4850 tips over 100C on load :S.
