The Ao Game

This game type has yet to make it main stream, but why? Only a few years ago it was the same way with another type of game, the M (Mature) Rated Games ten even five years it was unheard of to be playing M rated games but now they are every where, soon we might see a M rated Nintendo game and I don’t mean it will stand for Mario . What really makes a M game or a AO game, so far the only AO games that can be found are the porn ones for the computer, these with out a doubt should be rated AO for all the nudity, but wait only a few years ago a game called "THE GUY GAME" came out the point of game was to answer questions and then as a treat you get flashed and that one only got a M rating. Sure they only showed the top half but it all starts some where look at pg-13 movies ten years ago you could not say the F-word at all just one would make it a R rating but now you can say it once and it is ok. Soon they may be able to say or show even more. This game might of only showed the top and the bottom but everything has to start somewhere. Now there is the new game on the street a game called "MANHUNT 2" a game where the first one was only rated M and both have the same type of game play. In the first one you are an ex-con trying to get out of the city and if you see someone in your way then well you know the rest you would take out that person with whatever you had even if that means a plastic bag to make them suffocate. It showed it all in all its gore. In Manhunt 2 you have been kidnapped and held prisoner in there sick hospital so you try to escape. There are people in MANHUNT 2 that don't want you to leave so you must take care of them, but in this one you have a reason to kill, so you can live, but they rate this one with an AO rating and the one where you kill for fun just an M, weird. Many who have played the game say it is no more violent then most R rated movies but a lot less then X rated movies. The game will be very gory and very evil but anyone who wants to buy the game already knows that. To make a game for adults can be a hard thing to do because no make what they rate the game there is a good chance that a kid might get his hands on it, so for the government to do this for that reason alone is wrong, because it is the job of the parent to watch what there kids are doing and not hope the government will do there job if they are not there to do there own. The game now won’t be let out to see the light of day, both Nintendo and Sony said they do not want an AO game on there home system, unless the game drops some of the gore the game will never come out. That is one option, and that is censorship which is never cool. The other option they have is to Change and take the augment that the game has no more gore then a rated R movie has, if this will ever happen only time will tell. In a world were no one ever knows what the day will be like, and what will happen with the next step, why stop something that we already know what it will be like. Instead of just looking at the game and say "That is a bad game", pick up a controller and press start. The game was finally release and was dropped down to a M rating; I bought the game and played it; now did I kill some one after… No. the game was a good game and the gore was still there but they used a filter to make it hard to see. Why dose that make it better we still know what is going on. So what is the difference really in the game? Nothing; it is a violent game with lots of killing and the fact that there was a filter did not matter one bit; this was nothing more then a pissing contest.
