Stupid Watergate moves fast: Michael Flynn flips on Trump

Michael Flynn has plead guilty to making false statements to the FBI. He's also reportedly testified that Trump directed him to make contact with Russians on behalf of the campaign. Probably goes without saying but this is huge. It was pretty obvious to everybody this administration has been breaking laws since day one, but now we have definitive proof.

I'm asshurt that we don't have a proper President. Do you really want someone in charge of your country who spends more time on his Twitter account?
People are getting fired from their jobs every day from sexual assaults to allegations yet Trump gets a pass... explain that one to me

Whoops, looks like ABC retracted the original story. Now the only definitive proof of anything we have is that the MSM continues to pump out more fake news:!:

Not sure about the ABC story in particular, but Flynn flipping on Trump has 100% happened. There are a thousand other sources out there for this, you can just Google it, but if anyone needs more linked let me know.

The White House canceled several events today in light of this news.

Remember that this comes after Manafort, Gates, and Papadopolous were indicted on several charges also stemming from the special investigation. Stuff like conspiracy and money laundering. Three individuals that were active parts of the Trump campaign.

Even tho the ABC information is incorrect, it does seem like illegal things have been done and Trump isn't completely off the hook yet. One of the main things is Flynn lying to the FBI and Trump knowing about it. Why did Flynn lie in the first place? Why didn't Trump say this before? Then there is Comey, who was apparently asked to not investigated Flynn. This has been denied.

I really couldn't care less about the current political situation. I just hope that liberals don't take office again until the economy as a chance to recover.

@blujay The economy has been on an upward trend since well before Obama left office. Trump even bragged about it several times, taking sole credit of course.

The tax bill that just passed is much worse than GWB's tax cuts, and those helped kickstart a recession, so expect the cycle to repeat there.

Actually, you can't expect anything with the economy. It is versatile, you can try to influence it with tax cuts or bills, but nobody can truly predict what will happen. This might be a huge success, or a huge failure. Either way, I can't expect anything with the economy.

And just to clarify: There are around 77 million families that don't pay taxes. Of course a tax cut won't help them since they rely on the state and don't work for their money.

@Viri Trump is guaranteed to be impeached if enough Dems get elected in 2018. Seems more and more likely every day with unpopular kickbacks to billionaires coming from the Republicans, Net Neutrality repeal, stripping healthcare, etc.

And even if Republicans won't impeach it doesn't make Trump any less of a criminal. Charges are coming from Mueller's special investigation, it's inevitable. They already nailed four Trump officials to the wall, and two of them flipped on him.

@blujay A simple rule to follow is: if the economy's doing well, don't fuck with it. Trump just fucked with it. After the tax cuts they plan to gut social security and Medicade as well. Basically doing everything they can to screw over the middle and lower class.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure "liberals" aren't the ones that messed up the economy in the first place.

Trump might not get impeached, but if he is doing things that deserve impeachment and he doesn't get impeached, that just shows how corrupted things are right now.

The economy wasn't doing well. You do realize Trump's goal with the Tax cuts is to cut corporation tax so they are more willing to do their production/hiring in the U.S.? That will increase the economic output, enhancing the economy.

The livestock are getting angry for having to give up their goods to others who don't want to work for it, so an economic change is due anytime now.

And in the future, how are you going to know what doesn't work if you have never tried it, and how do you know the best solution isn't the one you've had for years?
