Stupid Watergate moves fast: Michael Flynn flips on Trump

Michael Flynn has plead guilty to making false statements to the FBI. He's also reportedly testified that Trump directed him to make contact with Russians on behalf of the campaign. Probably goes without saying but this is huge. It was pretty obvious to everybody this administration has been breaking laws since day one, but now we have definitive proof.

To be fair, we knew it wasn't going to be a smooth ride through the Trump administration. It's not like nobody saw these problems coming, there were just too many people who wanted to ignore them until they came back to bite us in the ass. It's time to clean house before this gets any worse.

@the_randomizer It's the politics of hatred that divide people. The people that use such tactics don't get to do so with impunity, otherwise the divisions you're talking about become permanent. Never forget that the 2016 election and everything that has followed up to now has been a deliberate attempt by Russia to undermine the US' moral authority and deepen our existing conflicts with each other. Letting the people responsible stay in power isn't a "fuck you" to politics as much as it is a "fuck you" to this nation.

Well, if people would actually learn to agree to disagree, and not verbally attack or bitch about who voted for who, or didn't use ad hominem attacks, I wouldn't hesitate to share my political views. So until people stop lumping certain voters as all being the same, and actually respected how people vote, instead of considering them to be unintelligent. Rambling, I know, but until people can respect others political opinions regardless of their affiliation without using bullshit ad hominem attacks. Yeah, fuck politics.

If people can bash me for voting a certain way, it's only fair that I can bash them right back. Fair's fair.

@the_randomizer I don't fault people for making mistakes, but I do fault people when they try to double down on those mistakes rather than owning up to them. At some point it's no longer about Right vs Left, but rather just the health of the nation in general. Neither side can be allowed to get foreign help in interfering with elections. If we can't agree to simple common ground rules like that, we might as well skip straight to the next Civil War.

Haven't read enough to form an full opinion about this, but in other news, looks like impeachment is coming Trump's way.

It's funny, Trumps main thing was how Hillary was breaking the law, now look what's going on now.

You just keep jumping from wild conclusion to the next, settle down. A lot could change, nothing could change. For somebody that hates politics you sure seem to be worked up over this and are trying to get people going.
