Stupid Steam

Yesterday i decided to install steam, and all ive had is problems with it!!!
I payed for half life 2 for mac, then i didnt even download it and it was saying preparing to install so i was like  okay.. so then it gets up to te last part preparing cache then it just crashes so i try again and again with the same thing happening each time...

I googled my problem and found i had to reinstall steam so i do that and it starts downloading, throught the downloading it gets just stopping so i have to pause and resume the download the for about 15 minutes it starts downloding at 12 BYTES per secodn which is ridiculous since my downloads are normally a megabyte per second after about 3 hours it finally downloads YAY i exclaimed then i click play, steam is validating this game okay... so i wait then it says steams servers are currently to busy please try again in a few miunutes this was an hour ago and its still doing it GRAGAGAHHSKDJ

I blame your mac.

I've never had a problem with Steam, aside from the occasional times where it disconnects from my friends list.

he probably meant the steam client setup for mac not the hardware itself, just the software being poorly coded or something like that.

If you have a Chinese slimline DVD drive, the usual black rectangular shell, you can swap that out for another drive if it used the same small SATA connector.
