Lately, I've been a lot busy with this new school I just transferred into. Its kinda fun, I transferred during my sophomore year so it was kinda a harsh transition and it wasn't too easy to say goodbye to my old friends that I had made at my old school but I'm glad I made the change. The other school I went to didn't have as much of an opportunity to learn, as this school has a ton of extracurricular activities to do. To elaborate, many of the programs or interesting classes back at my old school didn't seem practical nor useful in any kind of manner. that really made school seem like it was useful or even leading up to something great. But the one class in this school that makes me even feel like I have a purpose on this earth later on life is my engineering class. Even though I'm technically not really in the class either, as I am purely there to learn more about electrical engineering, programming etc.. We're now learning how to use fusion 360 to model our electronics and to be able to build more things like that. There's a lot more freedom that this school gives me that the other school did. For example, we have 1-hour lunches at this school where we can go anywhere we'd like to for that hour, compared to my 30 minutes and restriction only stay within the lunchroom at all times, which felt a lot more like a prison more than an educational environment. It was a public school after all, but this magnet school I'm going to now feels more like show me what it feels like to actually want to learn about something and be able to accomplish that goal and continue to grow more as a person and develop more skills and other cool stuff.
