Stardock.....

So I just bought Object Desktop June 3rd. As of last night me 2 week old key is 'invalid'. The only way to fix it.... Submit a ticket that takes 9 days to be answered with 'We're sorry we can't help you' /sarcasm

I also bought CursorFX.... The key doesn't even flipping work in Impulse. God I hate digital distribution shit.

I'm so angry. GRR

Steam is a digital distribution company for GAMES. Impulse = Stardock digital distribution.

Although with the split that just happened that will be changing.

BUT IM STILL required to use Impulse to install/update the programs.

So offering a snide steam insert isn't even intelligent. As you didn't even read what programs I'm complaining about.

I'm not talking about games. GG terminator.

Yeah, I prefer physical distribution over digital distribution any day. Everyone always says how digital is more secure, or better, when really, all it is is just a lazier way to get stuff.

If it continues to act up, I suggest pirating it. If a company can't make a working product, they don't deserve any more money or time from you.

You might as well just file a support ticket and see what happens.

If it comes to it, just pirate the software. After all, you already purchased a legitimate key.

Haha Stardock actually has their protection done right. The only way to pirate the few programs that are pirate-able is to change SIDs and I hate doing that.

As to filing a support ticket, already been done 3 times :P Waiting on responses.

Digital distribution isn't necessarily lazy, but if the party doesn't do their shit right, it fucks their customers.
