I can't believe your parents would blow $2,500 on a globe chair. Tell your parents that the 360 is much less expensive and you will get much more use out of a 360 than a globe chair.

I think they know that the 360 is more than 2x cheaper than the chair. They just don't want me to have anymore consoles or just games in general.

Did you know that is only because they removed the red ring of LEDs, not because they actually fixed the problem?

Also, at some later point you could just sell the chair...

... Why not ask them for the money they would spend on the chair instead? $2500 would certainly get me studying a bit more. I'm not sure how anyone could justify spending that much on a chair unless they literally have more money than they could spend in their lifetime. I lol'd when the "people who viewed this product bought..." section featured several similar chairs for ~$30.
