Well, this is kinda meaningless, I'm doing this for fun, but anyway, why the heck not?
1. Gen 1 Poke Transferred Pokemon are going to have Hidden Abilities. While people are really excited about this nice and scarfed Fissure Machamp, Game Freak people understand this as well. And they understand the lack of Hidden Ability sources. And this is pretty much just perfect as an opportunity.
2. Mewnium Z distribution shortly after the release of Pokebank or even within the Pokebank. This is based on SciresM's datamining made for 1.1 S/M update. Two types of berries were legalized (Bluk and Pinap) for online play, and Mewnium Z as well. Players are going to transfer their Mew (obtained legally or by glitches, doesn't really matter) from RBY and get the Z-Crystal to commemorate this.
3. No main Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch. While it seems like Nintendo Switch is a handheld, it's actually a hybrid that replaces the Wii U as a home console. There are AAA titles being developed for Nintendo 3DS (Fire Emblem Warriors/Echoes, Ever Oasis, Lady Layton) so it pretty much is going to be alive for a year at least. I'm pretty much sure we're going to see the Nintendo 3DS's successor in 2018 because Switch is not really a handheld. You're not going to slide it into your pocket and go to the local tournament to kick everyone's ass. Sure, there are going to be Pokemon games on the Switch (and I really hope for something like Pokemon Battle Revolution to be released) just not the main games.
4. Pokemon Stars is not even the real name for the game! Game Freak just love to surprise people. Pokemon Gray? Pokemon Z? Well, Pokemon Stars is going to join this list! I don't know really what kind of game is going to be the next one in gen7, but maybe (just a wild fun guess) it was going to be called Pokemon Prism. The third legendary alongside with Sunne Pokemon and Moone Pokemon is Prism Pokemon so why not?
And so, here are my predictions for anything Pokemon-related. You may or may not agree with me, but time will definitely show
