This is kind of a returning dream, but it only happens about once a year, and it's not always exactly the same, except for the storm itself.
It always plays out outside my current home. I remember it happening outside my old home before I moved.
There is a storm called Dundra. It arrives once a year. It comes from Canada. It looks similar to a tornado, but is much smaller in size. About two or three stories high.
It is mostly invisible while it's moving. You can only detect its winds, but they aren't as strong while it's moving. Before stopping, it starts to gain its cloud. It always stops after a while, usually about 25 metres away from my home. After it stops, it periodically creates a strong vacuum, sucking in things that have been left outside (it's not strong enough to damage a house). These vacuums last for about 10 seconds, then it calms down, becomes invisible again (but stays at the same place) and remains calm for about a minute.
After a couple hours of this loop, it starts to create rainclouds and when it's finished, it unleashes the final stage of its wrath. Strong rain, a permanent vacuum (that doesn't suck in all the rain) and winds. After doing this for a couple of hours, it disappears and doesn't come back for a year.
My dreams of this storm are always about helping my family bring the stuff that's outside, inside.
