Well, I have to refurbish the game pads (as seen in the photo, the D-Pad's are broken which is a recurring problem with Master System game pads, at least the European ones) but it's a relatively easy fix, plus just about any pad with a matching plug works with this system, including my Mega Drive game pad, so it's hardly an issue.

What really matters is that the system is in great condition - it's not cracked anywhere, it's not terribly scratched, it's functioning, the audio and video are great with no issues whatsoever, none of the ports need fixing and the cartridges work straight away - I only had to re-insert twice so far and it's gone through some hefty testing.

The games are actually fun too - Shinobi is buckets of fun, Castle of Illusions is a hit, Sonic is great, Flintstones is... oddly entertaing, Columns is Columns - you can't go wrong... The only one I can complain about is F-16 Fighter because it looks... immensly dated and I really don't know how to properly play it. I don't know what to think of World Soccer yet as it's mostly a 2-player game, but it looks fine. The system also came with built-in Alex Kidd, which is great - can't frown upon a free game.
