school

I was just in my first hour class and we were taking down the schools little weather tower
I was able to keep some of the equipment that actually worked!
now I have I nice little light senser and a humidity monitor (im surprised it still works seeing how humind it normally is)

@BlueFox gui i have a "job" i dont get paid much because its not an actual "job" its more of just fixing stuff for random ppl

If that's not an actual job then I guess I have been unemployed my entire life.

Equally "an exchange of services, commonly using skills and tools that not everybody will have and generally for things they are unwilling or unable to do" works pretty well as a definition of a job.

We could go into whether you could sustain yourself in doing what you do, however given you probably would not be able to sustain yourself by the other money earning thing typically offered to people in school of standing behind the counter in a fast food place whilst bored out of your skull counts as a job then I am not feeling the need.

On the other hand if for tax and/or other similar such purposes you care not to classify it as a job then we shall say no more.

I clicked on this blog expecting a debate but too both my disappointment and satisfaction, it was not a school bashing post.

Anyways, it's cool that you got some equipment. I doubt you could use it for anything right now, but maybe for a future project it might just come in handy.

my school does suck
I just don't complain about it often
but yeah I have an immediate use for the light sensor
I've got 2 lizards and they need constant heat because its suddenly colder here
so I have it set up to turn on the red heat lamp when the yellow one turns off
now I only need to remember to turn on and off 1 heat lamp :)

Eh I'd prefer to find a flamethrower tbh. I'm kinda a pyromaniac just a little bit.
