Alright, first up is school. My grades have been shit, except for the vo-tech school I go to for computer programming, where I have a high A (I think it's a 96%). This is mainly because of homework...I either don't do it, or I get sidetracked with something else and forget to do it. However, I've recently just been doing the homework right when I get home, so I don't forget. There's still the problem of whether I want to do it or not...I know it's important, even though most people don't do theirs' and still pass somehow, but sometimes I want to relax. I guess if I don't man up and just do it, I'll never be able to stick with a good job for a long period of time when I get older. Another thing with school that I'm having a problem with is the people. Random people have been making fun of me and saying stuff about...I don't really care about the things they say, but the thing that puzzles me is that the majority of the people don't even know me, nor do I know them. Enough with school, I'll worry more about it when I have to wake up at 6:30 AM for it.
Next up, music. I've been listening to a lot of different genres recently, from electronica/metalcore (Enter Shikari is my favorite band right now, and their songs are pretty much in this genre...I can't stop listening to Sorry, You're Not A Winner) to rock/progressive rock (Kansas is of course one of my favorites, with my favorite song by them being Song For America). I've become more open to different genres (Except rap, which I will never like, because most rap nowadays involves sex, drugs, violence, and everything else associated with it...I know not ALL rap is like that, but it's better for me if I just stay away from the genre for strange reasons).
Last up, what most Tempers have been talking about more and more since it was dumped on Friday night...Pokemon! I downloaded SoulSilver on Friday night, but only played up until I got the Pokedex. After that, I stopped, because I didn't want to have to keep saving over and over, since the anti-piracy would eventually kick in, and I didn't feel like starting from a ways back. I'm most likely going to get the game tomorrow, since I still have about $10 on my pre-order that I forgot I even had, and I have $12 with me, so I'm going to see if I can do a few chores or something to earn the rest of the money I need. Hopefully I can get it, since I want that Lugia figure, and I've been dying to play it, since I do want to play on my brother's R4 and face random freezes. Plus, the PokeWalker is pretty nifty, but I don't think it will get much use besides around my house, since taking it to school would be embarrassing if anyone saw it, and it's been pretty dreary outside lately, so I can't walk around or do anything with my friends outside (There's still snow, but it's mostly gone...The main part of the dreariness is the mud and water from the rain we recently got).
...Boy that's a lot...tl;dr version:
School hasn't been good grade-wise (Except for vo-tech school, which I go to for computer programming), but I've been working on it. I've been more open to different musical genres, and I've found quite a few great bands during the past week or two. I'm going to try and get Pokemon SoulSilver tomorrow if I can get $18 for doing chores. :yaychores:
