Results, losing,and 360 or ps3?

The girl I talked about last time finally replied to me. She basically told me that she didn't have the same feelings me more I had for her. :sleep: I kind of expected that though.
Maybe she'll change her mind when we are at YEC this weekend.

I'm so stoked for YEC!!! :yay: (For those who don't know, it's a huge christian concert/evangelism training. Each state has their own YEC every year.)
I get to miss work to listen to music and play games with my friends for 2 straight days. :yaywii:

I screwed up pretty bad at work today. :glare:
Several times I made burgers without cheese. >.< (I work at a Sonic)
And apparently one time I sent a burger with no meat, but i think that was a load of crap.
Although I did get a paycheck today! $168 ^_^

Last night I stayed up all night at my friend's house playing games. Right now I'm incredibly tired and should be asleep. :lol:
At first we decided to play Super Mario Strikers and try to beat the striker cup. After getting to Petey we lost and were pretty mad about that. :angry2:
We got incredibly frustrated when Super Mario War Wii kept hanging. As it's one of our favorite multiplayer games.
We also got mad trying to beat cruel brawl... Stupid wire frames
I had fun losing and getting mad though.

So lately I've been debating getting either a ps3 or 360 and just can't decide. :unsure:
I'm really leaning toward a 360, but ps3 has it's own pulls...
I want a 360 because my friend has one and so could I play my xbox games and netflix is a plus. The payed online is a reason I don't want a 360 but it's not that big of a deal. Especially since you can buy a year of live for $15 cheaper than it's supposed to cost at wal-mart.com (And no I wasn't advertising just thought I would share that for anyone who didn't know. :P)
But I want a ps3 for ad hoc party and the fact that I have my ps1 games I have bought on PSN. Also free online is a big factor here, although I've heard that it's not as good as live.
Any advice here?

Go for the new xbox 360.
Games don't need to be installed.
Trial version of every game on the market.
Live is superior to Psn.
DLC first.
Live is relatively cheap. Less than the cost of one fast food meal. Eat ramen for a day instead of eating out and now you have live money.
Generally no framerate problems.
Can install game completely to harddrive to improve load speeds.
Your friend has one.
Can listen to music while playing a game.

If you want to play with your friend, go with the 360. The online is excellent.

I'd go with the PS3.
You have to install games, yeah, so what, but at least playing online is free and you don't even have to buy a headset if you already have a bluetooth.
Not to mention the blu-ray is awesome :D
And it has wi-fi, no need for numerous cords.
You don't have to worry about it dying real fast either(360's RRoD)

I would go with a 360
a.) live may not be free but its better
b.) we may have to pay for live but that also means we're paying for constant updates and support and there are no certain days of a year that kick us off completely...
c.) we have the OPTION to install games
d.) Plays regular dvds just fine, who really cares about blu-ray
e.) MANY of the same games as PS3 with (imo) better exclusives

Theres quite a few more reasons but i dont care enough about persuading you to buy one to list them =P

inb4 the sony/M$ fanboys start getting tossed around.

The Elite 360 looks way better then original >_>

Go for 360. I just find its game selection a lot better.
Though, I do like some of the PS3 exclusive RPGs...
Still, overall the 360 has a better library, and much better online experience.

As owners as both consoles i can only say i ended up getting both since i couldn't make up my mind in the end. First got the 360, then later PS3

Word of advice: get the console that all your other friends have so you can take advantage of playing with them in certain multiplayer games, that's the only advice i can give

Small note: Live and PSN are exactly the same when it comes to online lags (as in its both the same speed). Live is considered superior to PSN due to more features, as in joining games of ppl met online, netflix, cross game chats, much much better party management system (i wont deny but the party thing is one of the many reasons why i got the 360) As for PSN the PSN store is just much better that the market place, not as in content, but how easy it is to share, and not to mention the fact you dnt have to deal with these MS points, its just cold hard cash, and you can clearly see the price. Again like i said, just go for the ones your friend(s) have, in this case i think it's the 360 for you.

Second off, where do they even have Sonics? I live in New Jersey and there's not a single Sonic within at least an hour's drive, but we always see commercials for them. I'm guessing they're in the Pennsylvania area since I'm a stone's throw from PA.

In the whole PS3 vs Xbox 360 debate, both are good consoles, you can't go wrong with either. I have a Xbox 360 myself but I've wanted a PS3 as well. Most of the Xbox shit you here is rather outdated as well. Red Rings are pretty nonexistent on newer models. Disc scratching won't happen unless you kick your goddamn Xbox or something (so generally being smart and not having it in the middle of the floor is a smart idea). Xbox Live is a rip-off but the online gaming is still great. And the XBLA deals aren't too bad either. I got all the Borderlands DLC for half off last week. And I got Shadow Complex for half off when it was half off. Some deals are flubs but others are excellent. If you have friends with Xbox's and you want to play with them, it's a no-brainer.

PS3 isn't bad either. I can't comment much on it since I don't own it nor have tried one but from research it has a good library and is worth the cash.

Third off, what the fuck is YEC?

man the staff at sonic I go to is awful. I love the food but every hamburger they make falls right apart. at least the toaster sandwiches are good

I live in Oklahoma, and there are plenty here. And I just realized I'm a sonic fan that works at a sonic. :lol:

YEC stands for youth evangelism conference. It's a christian concert as I said in the OP. :P
Thousand Foot Krutch is the headliner this year. :D
