I used notepad or wordpad on my comp. Saves me on erasers. Love my Backspace key and cursor for that.

My handwriting is horrible (as everything I do) and my teachers always had problems trying to read whatever the fuck I wrote.

I prefer my digital documents and notepads.

Regarding the prescriptions: Doctors are taught to write in a particular writing style (for their prescriptions) I might be misstating it when I say it is shorthand but it is a specific style they're taught (Latin I think), intended to decrease the desire of disreputables from trying to make false scripts on stolen pads.

This isn't really possible as these are also entered into a special (Fed?) online database after writing, which the pharmacy double-checks to make sure you haven't changed to amounts or drug. All this in addition to the fail-safes printed into the pads themselves these days, same as currency safeguards.

Oh my God! Thanks all for the replies, a lot of funny ones, got more than a chuckles with some. I'm still going to regularly write on paper just to ensure my handwriting has a semblance of legibility.

I quite enjoy the feeling of pencil on paper but I don't use it much anymore. My right handwriting is generally rough, but if I slow it down it's really nice and if I speed it up it's really bad. My left hand is more consistently good but is usually slower than my right
