0) Would you guys and girls stop referring to my DS as "that game"? It's annoying, and quit it. If I hear one more person say "that game" in reference to my Nintendo DS - I'd take an old rusty stylus and cram it up your nose to tickle that empty space in your head. At this point, I'd be happy to hear "the gameboy"....*growls*
1) Dear roommates. I carve stamps for fun. I do not want to go shopping with you. No, I don't enjoy looking at shoes that would deform a hobbit's arch, but I enjoy looking at crafts. I am not weird for not liking to shop for clothing. I am not a failure of a woman because I detest chocolate and shoe shopping. Thanks for pandering to the media stereotype that all women enjoy shopping as a sport.
2) I was playing that retro atari game collection on my ds. The "remix" games are ugly. It looks like a cheap hack of every atari game available, but I still love me some missile command and breakout. (Oh, and centipede - if you lose a life, it literally shows you a steaming, swirled pile of shit...saying "you stink".) I really hope that this game didn't sell well - because, well, it's UGLY!
3) My don/RA is an ass. She's a typical white girl - tall and rather outgoing. I'm the opposite. I rarely talk, but when I do, I make myself known. She always gives me a strange look, rather pitying and helpless whenever she deals with me. Frankly, I don't care - she works as an RA and gets more crap slung at her than a zookeeper at a monkey exhibit.
4) Pokemon SoulSilver is almost out. I am going to have to spend some cash to get myself down to the mall on sunday. This means...$40 + $10 (taxi) = $50. It's almost as expensive as treating my girlfriend for some good sushi. I should also point out that my mother is coming down this Saturday, and it makes me insane...!
5) I hate writing essays. I have 2 essays due next week. They are worth 25% of our grade, which means...I have to deal with that crazy grading crap....but at least this year, my TA likes me.
6) I've finally carved a bookplate stamp. It's a stamp that you use to claim possession of a book. It's stamped onto another paper, and then glued in. However, I like to stamp it into the book itself. I've carved one for my girlfriend - it's a rose and her name at the bottom... (The phrase ex libris means "from the library of:")
