So every year here I proclaim I'm joining the PC fat loser neckbeards master race and getting a computer. But every year that usually falls short and I end up splooging my money on something else. Well, this year it's hopefully different.
I've been in need of a better PC rig (well I use a laptop right now) for my video production so I finally asked for one for my birthday. Usually that's quite out of the price range of birthday gifts but since its also school related, it's an exception. I'm currently talking it over with my dad so hopefully it'll come to fruition.
It won't be anything $2000 fancy, probably around $500 entry level. I'll upgrade it as I go but if everything comes into place it'll work well enough for editing (I'm mainly using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop although I'd love to experiment with Source Filmmaker, Maya, and other programs) and it'll probably play most games (not at max settings 60FPS but well enough).
So yeah, that's that. I'm on my spring break and my birthday is Tuesday so, if I'm lucky, I'll have a PC ready to go before school starts up again.
