Opera 10 beta

Is now my browser of choice for my 25kbps phone tethered PC. Opera Turbo = awesome :D

I lol'ed when I saw it got a 100/100 on the Acid3 test. First useful browser to get it for a PC (Chrome doesn't count because it crashes every 5 minutes for me)

Ah it's not my primary internet of course, its my cell phones internet. Which I use on vacation and such.

No, after using this for a while I don't think it can replace my Firefox but this is a lot better than Chrome.

Besides Opera 10 beta, Safari 4 was nice too. Even tho it looks like it kinda got a lot of ideas from Chrome, it works really well and is pretty fast. Surprised it got 100/100 on the Acid3 test too.

never tried safari, even though I use a mac lol.

I avoid IE the best I can (some sites do INSIST on IE - which I find annoying)

I used to use Firefox (+ a few plugins) but after a while it kept crashing/locking up & becoming more unstable on each update - it also was slow to start up (I believe that due to the webpage sercuirty updates or something)

- then I switched to Opera & found it contained ~80% of everything I added to firefox already all in one package (Still miss the 'IEtab' function & 'WOT' plugin)

I find it more stable than the others, faster loading pages & more secure - shame about the activeX capability but I guess that what makes it more secure

The one thing I would REALLY like would the WOT (WebOfTrust) plugin for opera - when getting my search results - I found it very useful seeing the red/green/yellow icons next to the results

EDITED - Just found out about Scandoo search which apparently uses Google to search AND puts the 'traffic lights' on the results, so I've added that to my Opera Search box.
If you want to add it then this is what I did:-

Tools > Preferences > Search > [ADD]
In name whatever you like (I've got 'Google+Scandoo')
In keyword - whatever you like (I've got 'SD')
In Address put 'http://g.s.scandoo.com/search?hl=en&meta=on&q=%s' (the %s on the end is important)

however if you want the UK Google (where you also get the 2 radio buttons for 'The Web' or 'Pager from the UK',

In Address put 'http://guk.s.scandoo.com/search?hl=en&meta=on&q=%s'

I am gonna wait for the final release. It just keeps on looking better and better.

I went through pretty much all popular browsers...

IE, sucked. Soo many problems... And bugs >_<
Then went to FireFox. Decent, but i thought it was pretty slow. Like loading and stuff...
Google Chrome, fast, and nicee. But there was no bookmark side. Just some bar...
Safari, I tried the old Safari. Not the new one, so it sucked so bad. Noticed it looks so similar to Google Chrome, but chrome beats it since it is faster.

Now I am using Opera. Very nice... Has a side bar and the top bar, yay convinience! And can't wait for the 10 final release... The Tabs ^^

[/quote]Too expensive. I pay 3$ monthly for this slowternet and its fine. Not like I need to use the PC a lot on vacation.

Speaking of meatballs, what's the deal with meatball sandwich? How can people eat those? It's ROUND. Trying to bite those in a sandwich is a challenge. It's easier to eat a burger stacked with toppings. :ninja:
