So, obviously i haven't updated a blog since advanced wars DOR(not that anyone cares that i haven't), so for no apparent reason, I finally feel like writing one.
School's is gonna start for me in just over a week, which sucks. So, this last week, I've been at band camp (i'm not a band geek, it's required for joining marching band), and the schedule was from 8:30 to 8:30 with a 3 hour in total break for lunch and dinner. Basically, this week was as our band director called it, hell week, and it was pretty hard. We were out from 8:30 to 11:30, and then again from 5:30 to 8:30 marching and playing. This is my freshman year so this is my first time doing marching band, and since friday, I wasn't that good at marching and playing, mainly at one part where we had to go backwards while others were going forwards and we would mesh, but I kept crashing into this guy. Now, I've corrected my mistakes, and I'm doing significantly better. Our band director had originally planned for us to finish the drill, for parts 1 and 2 (out of 3, not including pre game, and stuff like that) to be finished by next friday, but we apparently finished one week early.
The music this year, was selections from jekell and hyde, which i think is really cool music. I don't plan on doing this again next year cause it's waaaaay to time consuming, and it gets repetitive.
