I am on Chapter 10 Disc 3.

I might stop playing for a bit... This feels like a waste... Beating a game after 1 week. Has no Online Features or Difficulty Change. Single Player only... Oh well. I will beat it, get MW2 then I will complete all achievements for FFXIII.

Erm... just to let you know, Chapter 11 is considered to be the half way point of the game, playtime-wise. So you still have roughly 20-25 hours to go.

i think im only on chapter 2 still god the movies looks so good on the ps3 but why do they have in game video too you can see the difference and it makes me sad

That must be when the side quests kick in? I guess Square Enix wanted to dump all the side quests on Disc 3 instead of having them on all the discs wasting space (which they really need for the Xbox version )

Oh, and don't cancel the guide, its epic.
I'm going to start using it properly on my second walk-through,
For now, I just use it for The Crystarium at the start of chapters when you have a ton of CP.

ZOMG. 25 hours...
CRAP. I am at 20 hours... 20 + 25 = 45 hours [maybe more... since I seem to grind a lot for CP].

Gah... It's said the same thing for a week, and I pre-ordered it to hopefully reserve a copy for myself. Looks like I got myself wrong... Like I said, I might cancel the CE Guide then just get the Standard Guide. After that, I will consider buying MW2 or maybe even cancel all the guides and get MW2.

Yeah, average playthrough time without doing side quests is around 45-55 hours. If you wanna grind and do side-quests, you're looking at around 80 hours. And if you wanna get all the trophies/cheevs... I hear it's upwards of 100 hours.

I just got an email saying my Final Fantasy XIII Collector's Edition Strategy Guide Book was cancelled.

Looks like I am just gonna be getting:
- the Final Fantasy XIII Standard Edition Strategy Guide [urrr... Maybe.]
- the Final Fantasy XIII OST [I like the music! but that's why we have YouTube + JDowloader]
- Modern Warfare 2 [will play this until Halo Reach =D]
