Okay, now i'm pissed.

I ordered an Acekard 2i from RealHotStuff in January, and just barely found out it was a CLONE. Son of a bitch! I'm contacting them now to see if they will send me a replacement. Is it too late? am I just fucked? Anyone know RHS's policy on this? They never informed me that they were selling clones.

Two other people have had the same issue in the last month, and I told them to contact RHS. I've no idea where those threads are, i'd struggle to find them. If I were you i'd either start a thread in the Acekard forum, or ask a mod to this thread there; one of those two posters may then notice your thread and you'll find out what RHS's response was.

RHS has a 1 year warranty as does Acekard. Don't worry you're fine, they should honor it.

RHS has a 90 day warranty.

As for Acekard, the warrenty doesn't count as they are clones. Acekard will not honour the warrenty for clones.

The issue is that RHS knew they were clones when they were selling them, I made sure they knew they were clones. Shame I got lynched by some members on here for it...
 
Like I said in the other thread, 0ShippingZone said in another thread that they are RHS's supplier. They apparently supplied them these carts.

If RHS refund or replace, then it's likely they will seek a credit from 0SZ. So as a last resort, send 0SZ a polite email saying you brought your clone cart from RHS which 0SZ supplier and ask if there's any chance of them replacing it. Cut out the middle man so to say.

So, I am here to apologize to anyone (including realhotstuff) got into trouble caused by the clone AK2i. realhotstuff is nice enough for not mentioning our name in their posts.

realhotstuff is a fine company based on the experience I have with them. I am hoping to put an end to the whole issue. For those who blamed realhotstuff and accused them for lying, please don't. They did not lie. They made the statement of what we told them. We were the one who got fed with wrong information and we should be the one to take the blame.

If anyone would like to discuss the issue again, please PM me. I rather talk about it in private instead of giving realhotstuff troubles again.

Regarding the 2.1 SAVE issue. realhotstuff did not lie about it either. For whatever reason taking acekard long time to release a new version to fix the SAVE issue. It was not realhotstuff's problem. They simply tried to inform their customers about the situation. Also, we were the one who told them about new version coming out too.
