I had a thread about this in a way, but it was more about visions of the future.

Deja vu is just a random sensation and I don't think it involves seeing the future at all. After all, you feel deja vu only as the moment is happening, right? That's some shitty future sight.

Although I'm sure some of you (myself included) have dreams that somehow tell the story of your day. Kinda like seeing the future if you were really drunk and in and out of consciousness.

Also, K-Pop is still bad.

My deja vu goes a step beyond the normal. I don't just get the feeling I've seen it before, I know I've seen it before and can generally recall the dream that I saw it in, no matter how long ago I had the dream. One example was a dream I had where my brother was doing something online at our old house, I looked over his shoulder and saw a darkish red background and some kind of blurry symbols in certain areas. A few months later, my brother started playing an online game, I looked over his shoulder one day, the dream long out of mind, and I saw the screen, the angle I was standing at and the dream came flooding back.

I ended up playing that game for awhile too, but it eventually went to crap and stopped being fun. It was a text based pirate one that was doing great until the owners abandoned it after raking in enough cash that they likely could have bought their own island.

Regardless, the example I gave is just one of many instances. It only really happens when I get stressed though. As a kind of stress reaction, my brain tries to piece together what the future might be like, obviously from things I've already seen (that would explain the lack of important detail on the things I haven't seen before). It was just scarily correct a lot of the time. Ever since I moved though, nothing like that has happened. It's probably because I'm now stable in my environment, and don't have to worry about the future daily.

I can't say I miss it.
