New Sig, I guess..

I guess I really like to make sigs based on bands :lol: .

This one is based from the single "The Widow" from The Mars Volta, my currently most favorite band. The template picture is their vinyl cover art for the album Frances the Mute. I used this picture as a template:

Then I pretty much recolored and remade it into this:

What do you think of this? This is the 2nd sig I have made myself, I'd like some criticism so I can move forward with image editing.
I'll start using this as soon as I can get its filesize down a bit.

Besides that, show off/discuss sigs/future sigs here.

Looks pretty decent to me. I got mine in the request thread and I like it so much I've got it set as my email sig, my sig here, and my PSP background.

Thanks. I like yours very much, the conceptual contrast is... stark, to say the least :lol: .

It took a while to get the man in the center of the picture to not look so unsharp compared to the original picture. I ended up digging out a stencil guide I've saved months ago to make him look smoother, although resized.

what's the point of a 'sig'?
takes up space that could be used for posts imo, no need to have some shitty picture at the end of everybodys posts

I like my sig because it's unique. It's something made especially for me. It adds a little stylistic flair to my posts as opposed to having just black space there.
