So this is basically a belated birthday present from my family, but I got a new phone today. I convinced my dad to switch to Sprint because we were paying waaay to much with Verizon. So I managed to get a smartphone in the process.
It's a Samsung Nexus S 4g. I bought it despite the large number of complaints regarding bad signal and the lady at the store telling me not to. Well I think I got a new batch, because it says the packaging date is 7/18 and I have no issues at all. The phone is probably the nicest Android device I've used. The screen is gorgeous, and the actual phone is designed very well. There no need to root it, because well... it comes with vanilla Android 2.3.4. I can create a mobile hotspot without paying the mobile hotspot fee. Awesome.
And 10mbps download speeds. hurrah
