Personally I don't think that the taking the cheats is the problem, it's them not giving credits to the original authors of those cheats, mainly TheProf9, Elixirdream and Narin, you not sharing it is a signal of respect to elixirdream, that's why he shared it with you (at least I believe so), if you want him back, start pulling your asses together and start working, if you manage to impress him enough he might join, I did not promise anything though, what done is done

That's what I said, not giving them credit. He shares it with me cause he trusts me, but I think people should give them credit or they'll end up stopping. Then everyone will have to make it themselves.

Yea thats sound resonable - I use the R4 editor which has served well for now. Like some one said before a dynamic database (website) would be very useful

correct, my bad for leaving it out =( still I had the basis right, lol.

is there a up to date database which could be used as a starting point?

Ive already started this and would love some help maintaining it took me 40 mins to add 2 games this morning

Let them be, I am not going to help them even one bit, stealing ones work and claiming to be the one behind it is just ugly, and it's not like my skills are enough to help them provide a good database, it's good that they got people such as gifi, but that's not going to do it for them, soon they are going to find out why hackers prefer to work alone rather then in groups, when they do they will whine to great singular hackers such as [cracker], elixir, Prof9 and bfoos, It's the only way for them to learn once and for all

Elix shutdown the DS section of the cheat forum, so they'll have to grab codes elsewhere and hopefully thank the code creators.

My option was 'Yes, but only if they can help others,'.

I didn't choose that option without a valid reason, as far as being on that website. I have seen the people who were put in charge and some of them were a 'bit' power hungry. Abusing the power of what you have isn't a community I will like to be in.

From other codes that so-called 'newbies' can't find due to their impatience, the search engine needs to be a little more specific. Not typing in Pokemon Black or Phantasy Star 0 and getting topics like 'Pokemon Platinum' or 'Magical Star'. Then there other times where people don't have flashcarts but their trusty 'Action Replay DS or DSi' want to find a selective code but can't find it unless they download the DB and go through games and codes of rubbish!

I for one USED to look up the codes from my smartphone but if its copy-n-paste into a format I can't look under than I need help with that situation and not be frowned upon.
