New Blink-182 Single

First, a video:

Now, this isn't my favorite song by them, but it definitely is far from bad. I enjoy the direction they are trying to take their new album in I don't even remember how many years at this point. I figure that if there are any other Blink-182 lovers on here who didn't know, they could see it. Everybody else, just listen and form your own opinion. I'm a fan to the greatest degree when it comes to these guys, so I may be a bit biased.

Me like!!! :D Travis drumming is solid and fun, really like it in this one :)

I was gonna post this but I figured not many users would care, I don't think many people here are into the genre.

I loved it. Not my favorite either but I loved it because it sounds like them. So many bands making new stuff totally different from what they used to make; Green Day, Linkin Park and others.
But this one sounds just like the Blink-182 I used to listen to all day when I was 13, even after the break up.

It made me a happy panda.

linkin park is electronic crap now :glare: , i used to love them (and still love their older albums)

i'm not the biggest fan of blink, but it was pretty good

DAMN. You beat me to it. I'm so excited about this new album. I can dive into HArd-core, and I'm in LOVE with hip-hop, but I can't deny it; Blink-182 was my favorite band through-out my entire child-hood. <3.

I love the change Green Day made. I still love older stuff too. I listen to them sooo much now and play the songs on RB3 all the time.
With Linkin Park, it just kept getting worse with every album.

As for the song, I like it. It's a bit different, but not bad. I don't really like that you can kind of hear a bit of an Angels and Airwaves influence, though. Still nice none the less.

I've heard the A&A comment from my friend too, but you can't really help it. I mean, Tom has been in A&A for awhile now. It has to have influenced him a fair bit. Honestly, that will probably reflect in the album, but it can't be helped. I don't think it sounds bad at all, and it is likely to fade in different types of songs.

Travis' drumming is stellar just as it always has been.

Great to hear Tom's voice again too considering I don't like Angels & Airwaves.

Travis is easily one of, if not my favorite drummer. He can take what would be a simple beat for most drummers, and he turns it into something fantastic. I'll listen to some songs, and just listen to the drumming the whole time because it is just so damn good.

^ Especially in Mutt, from Enema Of The State. his drumming in that song goes to show that a simple song with formally simple drums can sound fucking ridiculously amazing. :)
