My opinion about Skylanders

Honestly i can't find myself to see interest into a game that supposed to be related to spyro the dragon since the spyro i'm used to is gone. Since like the naughty dog activison split of both crash and spyro. So i dunno. Also this collectable character things seem just like amiibo, just like disney infinity (people still play that?) collectable character things just aren't my interest. Sure i see other people do it and wonder why and how, it must be expensive to purchase as well as searching for the more rare finds, just reminds me of collectables in video games like rayman, hard to find, but necessary to win. (Never liked that either) Collectables to progress through a game just upsets me.

I'll admit seeing donkey kong and bowser in a third party game seem interesting when previewed but just lost me when it was labeled skylanders. Same thing happend when hyrule warriors and dragon quest warriors. They could have made it work with all current existing amiibo and just added more characters i guess, nintendo characters. Between crash and spyro right now, the close of excitement i ever got with these two was seeing Nathan Drake play crash bandicoot in uncharted 4, and that cameo of crash in the sign during that playstation greatness awaits... you know the one they played on commercial a lot with all the people singing "OH SUCH A PERFECT DAY!"

The Spyro from the Skylanders' universe looks horrible and nothing like the original. That Spyro to me just isn't Spyro.

The hype of buying Skylanders/Amiibos/Infinity/Dimensions seems to have died out a bit. Amiibos in particular are almost pointless since you can't use them to play the toy's character whereas the other series allow it.

I know I wasn't happy about the whole Skylanders thing too with Bowser/DK but since I bought it specifically for these two Nintendo characters it makes no difference the rest of the Skylanders crap.

Hyrule Warriors, imo, it's a pretty awesome game in its own right. At first I did despise it because it looked like another unoriginal, rehash, uninspired clone of Dynasty Warriors but the game itself feels very fresh, original and unique as a Zelda Warriors title.

Don't diss out Crash Bandicoot from Skylanders Imaginators just because he's on Skylanders. The amount of detail, accurate gameplay, voice acting (similar not exact), references and so on is just amazingly awesome. Too bad it costs so much to play the damn thing (you need to buy the Starter Pack and the Crash Bandicoot Pack which aren't cheap in total).



I WANT. I WANT TO PLAY THIS... but for the prices it's going I'll just have to be patient. I'm currently enjoying Skylanders SuperChargers with Donkey Kong and yet to finish the game (thought it'd be small but it still has more stages to go).

Would use Bowser although my Donkey Kong is on level 20 (maxxed out) and levelling up Bowser would just mean I'd have to grind the hell out of the game.
