My Minecraft House (Unfinished)

Cool house.
Is there any reason for the water between every floor? What about the water around the entrance?
Also, your house is pretty dark. I'd lay some more torches or attempt a bonfire to create more light.

On a side note:

More interested in the entrance than anything else.

Lol. Sorry about that, Avast decided to pop up on me.
Yeah, I'm gonna lay more torches,

I built it by hand with materials and tools hacked in with INVedit.

The water only covers the glass entrance, I was playing with the whole Water/Fire theme, thought it be neat if a curtain of water covered the entrance and it looks like the fire is burning beside the water on the inside. That was the most difficult part to build.

The water in the ladders/elevator is first and foremost a safedrop and secondly, another marker for each floor.

Lava floors are awesome, make them like this:
Glass
Lava
Glass
Automatic lighting.

Glow stone is also good go ceilings.

Shame I lost my Glow+Obsid tower/castle in the 1.3 update.

Lava's too dangerous to work with IMO. I might consider glowstone too. Maybe for the 7th floor.

just hack your health to 1000 and if you fall in and have more than enough time to get out put yourself out with a bucket of water and keep working.

Seriously, grow some balls. Put your awesome items in a chest and fucking do it, nothing bad about dying. If your scared shitless by lava, use MCEdit.

Tempcraft is just a multi-player server which you can connect to without paying.
