My grandpa passed away today

I just got an email from my uncle that today my grandfather died.
He was fighting cancer for about 15 years, and in his last days he was in such pain that he couldn't even talk.
R.I.P Aurel.

While I'm sorry to hear that and really hope you and you're family are doing well, judging from your description it seems that he finally doesn't have to be in (a lot of) pain anymore. As Veho already said, my sincere condolences.

damnwhy couldn't this be me (i'm serious) my grandfather hates everyone including his son and does everything to spite everyone.

and another note hope you and your family deals with you grandfather passing away.

I'm sorry to hear that. If it helps, from what little I know of him from your post, he must have been an exceptional person. Fighting cancer for 15 years is no mean feat. He must have had real strength of character to keep on fighting and not give up for that long. You should remember that strength.

He has found peace, my condolences alan. Mine did also 3 years ago, so... cheer up!

2 years ago we stayed with him in his bed until he took his last breath, every person in the family were in tears, i have never cried so much, but in ways his death brought me closer to my cousins i didn't know, turns out we all have a passion for music and have been jamming and writing music with each other ever since.

I know the feeling of losing a grandparent to years of suffering. I'm not the type to offer any prayers, sorry, but I hope whatever waits for him is pleasant. My sincerest apologies.
