My first day with the TV B GONE

Omg... I want one of those, they look really fun. Especially if you use it at the mall, airports, or school.

I know, Everyone in my family thinks its a waste of money but its a form of entertainment that I guess they don't get. I am bringing it into school tomorrow but I fear that its going to be taken away so will probably just do it to teachers who actually don't care if they get pranked like my TV and Broadcast teacher.

Ahh yeah, I never thought about that.

One thing though I have realized, It works better with HD TVs, It still works on the older TV's that I have but it works a lot better with the HD ones, which happen to be what my school mostly has *mischievous grin*

School: they only ever used the face buttons (remotes were in the office) and channel change would not get the thing out of standby. Oh the fun. (funny story I did it in a TV shop once with the LED wired between my fingers, 'twas like a magic show/scene from the matrix)

mobile phones: two main ways they work. In a building it may well be a Faraday cage of sorts but the other more common sort is a signal transmission on the same frequency. Transmitters are fairly simple devices and nicely phones which have ones with just the frequency tend to die for other reasons or become "too old to use".
Such a thing sits just this side of the punishment involves "gaining a free ride with a nice facebag" or drastically shortened life expectancy in many countries mind.

It "plays" the HDTV codes first because there are more HDTV's nowadays and "plays" the 20 year old TV codes last (who uses them anymore?!?).
