My father surprised me. :o

So, I wake up today with an email from my father saying "I got a gift for you" I replied with "Uh.... okay"

So he gets home with a bit brown box. I dig into it, and find a white box. And it is a MacBook Pro 13-inch.

So, I'm not deciding to not build my desktop and just use my new Mac.

Not much else to say.

On-topic: That's awesome, but I don't see how it's a gift if you have to pay for it. Anyways, I'm getting a MacBook sometime this summer due to a class requirement, I'm still looking out for which one I should get (deciding between refurb/edu-priced/Kijiji and between current-gen-MBP/next-gen-MBA).

I have the same SanDisk USB drive as in your picture. Is it super-slow to write to or what? Takes forever to copy anything to it!

WTF paying for a gift? This is not fair at all. :\

However that's a great laptop, is it the i5 or i7 version? I bought my MBPro 13" i7 on day one and I'm totally loving it (I was already a Mac user since 4-5 years). ^^

I've got the same USB drive too, it's pretty slow indeed but it could be worse.

Fine, I used the word "gift" loo loosely.

I wanted one, and I duit my job, so, my Dad basically got it for me, using my money and forever allowance.

Which is all fine by me seeing as I needed a new computer..o
