Today i want to write about my experince with the Amazon Fire TV Stick.
it was Thursday and this was the Day, where my Fire TV Stick should arrive. I waited the entire Day and looked out of the window, in hope to see if someone deliverd my package. I then procedded to make something, that would keep me bussy. that worked until i saw what time it was. It was arround 3:00PM (15:00) and i was going downstares, to look if my Package was deliverd. It was and the guy from the "Deutschen Post" was really sneaky with my Package (he didin't even ring the bell!) So that my Package got deliverd from a Elite Ninja of the "Deutsche Post", i was going to my Room and unboxed my Fire TV Stick. I then plugged the Stick in and tried to use the USB plug of my TV as a power supply for Stick(which did not worked). After i completed the initial setup, i steped into a problem. I wanted to download a app, but it didin't worked because it conplained, that i didin't configured a paying method. I then searched the entire internet for a soulution, because it wanted a Credit Card, which i don't have (and putting fake info didin't worked). I then looked in the Amazon "one click order" preferances, where i found the option "make this payment method the default method" i clicked on that and it worked! I love to experiment with Hardware and making things with the Software that were not intended, because Amazon's Fire OS is a customized Android OS. I then procedded to experiment with the Software. I can confirm, that the Fire TV Stick can handle N64 games and barely Dreamcast games. The Fire TV Stick is an excellent choice for a Android based smart HUB, that is under 100€ (it costed 39,99€).
This Blog Entry was btw written from the Fire TV Stick directly.
Edit: The spacing between the Text was fixed, because it looked terrible.
