Understandable feelings and it's good to express them. I can empathise. I have felt the same way about music I've written, songs I've recorded, software I've written, fiction I've written.....

Creative people are often insecure. It's good in a way as insecurity drives you to improve. The problem is that it can also be destructive. Feedback from people you know isn't often helpful - you'll tell yourself that they're only telling you your creation is good because they care about you and don't want to be honest...

Maybe you should create an account on something like DeviantArt and upload your drawings there. That way you can get honest feedback from people who have no motivation not to be honest. Just bear in mind that people can be cruel online.

There might be forums for artists who could give you feedback. I know I have found it helpful to post extracts of fiction on writing forums to get honest feedback, and I'm more inclined to believe praise when it comes from somebody who doesn't know me.

Don't give up

If its not something you enjoy doing anymore, then just stop. I get down sometimes about my art, but never to the point where I've ever even considered stopping for good. But if you aren't passionate about it and just don't like drawing anymore, then find another hobby. Nothing wrong with that.

No, keep going. You WILL improve. You can't NOT improve, really. JUst keep pushing yourself, trying new things, experimenting with art styles. In a few years you'll look back on your drawings now and think "holy crap I've come a long way". Trust me.

I lost confidence in lots of things, Video games, developers, my surroundings, my technology, my people, other people, the world the internet, sometimes myself, my skill, Just being alive feels like a disappointment. How does that sound, bad yet? Maybe creepy? Oh okay how bout this.

Well i lost so much it hurts, but i guess i can always try to pick things back together. Guess the secret is comfort, happiness and support. You feel comfortable good, how bout happy, also good, any supporters? Fan base, family, someone who wants to see you at your best, doing what you like? Yeah those are things that may help you. As it is now, i don't have those things, i don't even feel alive at the moment. Do what you want to make you comfortable, happy and supported.

My art is shit, and whenever I lose hope, I give up, put it away, and come back to it later. If I don't want to continue with the drawing, I just start a new one.
